Large-scale asset verification across disconnected inventory systems, with three goals: verify the information in the Netcool CMDB, create a working source of truth, and feed corrected assets back into Granite. Untrusted sources (Granite, Netcool CMDB, and Guardian) were reconciled through ITNM discovery and custom scripts: IP-level data verification, automated sysName resolution per market, SNMP validation, and closed-loop escalation until every discrepancy was resolved.

Automated Tier 0 incident handling more than a decade before AIOps became a category. NMS email-to-ticket automation parsed alarm emails, classified and acknowledged events in the monitoring layer, and created, updated, and closed incident tickets automatically, including auto-closing outages that cleared before any human touched them. Only unresolved issues escalated to Tier 1.
